Professional conferences, both state and national, are opportunities for educators to learn the latest research or strategies for classroom instructions within their disciplines, or in social studies in general.
The Minnesota Council for the Social Studies Annual Professional Development Conference will take place March 11, 2013 at the Atwood Memorial Center, St. Cloud State University, in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Attend sessions on the social studies disciplines and methods, visit with vendors, and network with other social studies teachers from around the state.
Attendees may also sign up for a gala event Sunday, March 10, 2012. Join us for dinner, a keynote speaker and the presentation of MCSS Teacher of the Year Awards.
